Please Note:
Roller sizes given refer to the maximum width cover that can be accommodated. This allows for an overlap of approximately 9 inches on either side. The small Poolroll tubes will extend to 15ft 6 inches, so it is suitable for a pool 14ft wide, plus 9 inches overlap either side.
Use of a swimming pool reel will lengthen the life of your solar cover, as they are often ripped when covering and uncovering the pool by hand. Whilst rollers make the job of cover handling much easier, it is recommended that you also use a towing attatchment, which helps the cover to glide effortlessly across the water, supporting the leading edge as it goes.
Swimming PoolRollers can either be fixed, such as the Post model, or be mobile so that they can be moved away from the pool as required when it is in use. Before ordering think about the space available for storing the reel, and ease of re-positioning it if required.
A solar powered electric, requires no specialist electrician installation. A mains powered electric reel must have the final electric installation done by a suitably qualified electrician. This inevitably adds to the cost and should be borne in mind when ordering.
