After an exhaustive 5 years development program, a revolutionary new solar cover material, GeoBubble™ is now available. The goal was to produce a material that significantly improved the design and therefore the life span of traditional solar cover material. Plastipack Ltd in conjunction with the University of Brighton and London Metropolitan University have developed a new shape bubble which will add up to 25% to the life of covers.

- GeoBubble™ has been scientifically designed specifically for swimming pools. Traditional bubble is a by product of packaging materials.
- All edges are rounded, therefore reducing stress on the material
- The thickness of the plastic is uniform all over. Traditional bubbles have stretched thin points, particularly on the walls
- GeoBubble™ is 50% thicker at the places where traditional bubble is weakest
- The unique figure of eight shape creates a large footprint, which increases the adhesion between the two layers.
- The new bubble allows room for air expansion. Traditional solar cover material is restricted, causing strains.

The translucent material, dark blue on top and reflective silver underneath create a cover which combines excellent solar gain with heat absorption, evaporation reduction and durability for a long life.
- Sol+Guard
Sol+Guard is the best material for increasing Solar gain, which makes it the number one cover in hot, sunny climates. This is due to a combination of the transparent top surface, and a turquoise tinted underside. In less hot climates, such as the UK, the all round abilities of the Ultimate cover make it more suitable. However, under sunny conditions, even in the UK, the Sol+Guard material can achieve heat increase of up to 8°
- EnergyGuard
EnergyGuard covers have been designed to minimize the conditions for algae growth, reducing expenditure on chemicals and filtration. The combination of a dark grey upper surface and black underside, create an opaque material which keeps light out of the water.
